Introduction

Primož is one of the first Slovenian sportsmen who has been using and has publicly stressed the meaning and benefits of the usage of alternative ways of training and energy healing as the obligatory supplement to physical training and preparation of the body to the most demanding efforts. His bio-therapist, adviser and trainer Marjan Ogorevc works with Primož since the beginning of his career. He was also his trainer at the beginning as well as trainer of Vladimir Kevo, who was leading his expert team for a very long period of time.

Marjan Ogorevc is the author of several works from the field of self-healing and manages the center for bio-therapists. Lately he has been devoting his efforts to finding ways of helping sportsmen to overcome injuries, fatigue and improvement of psycho-physical competences. For two decades he has been studying the alternative ways of healing. Among these, the karmic diagnostic has proved to be one of the most demanding ways for the therapist as well as for his client. Simultaneously with the development of diagnostics and healing with the help of the insight into the human bio-field, he was building upon Biorgonomy.

The year 2008 was crucial also for him. Primož Kozmus became the Olympic champion and Ogorevc issued his seventh book "Alternative medicine in sport," which describes the usage of different methods of alternative medicine in sport and the ways of training of the Olympic gold medallist Primož Kozmus. Ogorevc sees the victory of Primož also as "a proof that harmful substances for encouraging success of top athletes will once belong to the past." Primož described the common work with Marjan Ogorevc in the following manner : "In the past years I realized through experience on trainings and competitions and through problem solving and sports injuries that I need to get more aware of the power of energies within my body, which people often don't realize.

I realized that the solution is always within ourselves and that the internal calmness and examining our own attitude to the world is the key to the desired sport results and to the bigger satisfaction in life. With the help of so called meditation of technique I did a big step forward in the practice of the demanding technique, required for successful hammer throwing. I use it at trainings as well as at competitions. I realised that an athlete is a fighter and his success depends on whether he is ready to let the flow of life lead him and if he is bold enough despite the given moment offers no guarantee to succeed.«
